Ok so this is the part where I tell you a little bit about myself.… I promise this is the only time it will be “about me” from here on in, it will be “all about you” Now where do I start.….love my job! Living and working in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast as a Marriage Celebrant, is definitely the best of both worlds. And getting to know the people who I will be working with to make their Celebration perfect, stress free and Fun is another plus . I am very lucky to be a Sunshine Coast Celebrant, and Noosa with its second to none Beaches, Gardens, River and beautiful Hinterland, the perfect backdrop for a Ceremony for any occasion.
I grew up in inner Melbourne and my husband, daughter and I moved to the Sunshine Coast over 21 years ago, so I guess I can now say that I am a “local”. I was a professional vocalist and performed all over Australia and did a little acting on the Soapies. If you look carefully you can see me on Homicide, Carson’s Law, Division 4, Prisoner and Strictly Ballroom, but don’t blink you may miss me. I still dabble in a bit of performing and acting here but purely amateur, it is more light hearted and fun.
For many years, I had the pleasure of singing at Marriage Ceremonies in Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast and because I received so much joy and satisfaction from this, it seemed a natural progression in my life to become a Marriage Celebrant.
The perfect way to move on to the next chapter of my life. Actually, it’s more like an enjoyable book that you don’t want to put down. Devoting my time to my Clients and creating a unique Ceremony is a privilege, which I don’t take lightly but enjoy with a passion!
My experience as a performer, Master of Ceremonies plus many years in marketing, publicity, event co-ordinating and other areas of Customer Relations plus a strong creative side and a good eye for detail, has given me the ability to recognise what people want. Working with my couples to create a Perfect and Unique Ceremony and perform it in a professional but relaxed manner, doesn’t feel like a job, it feels like I am making new friends. Now whether it be good or bad I am a perfectionist, so be ready for me to strive for this.
My commitment is to leave you happy and satisfied with no doubt that you made the right choice in me as your
Celebrant. You can then look back on the day and say, “That was so easy and fun and exactly what we wanted”
